Cloud, AI firm names new public sector sales lead

Cloud implementation firm MTX Group has appointed former Oracle executive Mike Baraiolo as senior vice president of sales for the public sector business.

In a release Wednesday, MTX said Baraiolo has been tasked to advance its presence with government agencies in the labor, transportation, and health and human services markets.

MTX’s cloud service is backed by its Maverick.io artificial intelligence platform, which CEO and founder Das Nobel said in the release can be “a complementary solution in addition to all cloud technologies.”

At Oracle, Baraiolo was a sales and management leader in its North American business.
