ManTech closes KGS deal

ManTech International said Monday it has closed its $115 million cash acquisition of Kforce Government Solutions to gain a greater federal health footprint.

First announced March 1, the addition of KGS also is part of ManTech’s strategy to bolster its presence with the Veterans Affairs Department and position for large-scale technology contracts.

Many of those opportunities are coming through the agency’s massive “T4NG” vehicle that KGS won a prime position on and ManTech will inherit.

KGS’ other customers include the Health and Human Services, Homeland Security and Defense departments.
