NewWave books $196M CMS modernization order
NewWave Telecom & Technologies takes a $196M IT and application modernization order with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
NewWave Telecom & Technologies has booked a five-year, $196 million task order to help develop new applications for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services to use in new models of health care delivery and payment.
The goal is to take agile system development and modernization services such as advanced data analytics into the CMS’ Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. NewWave said Friday.
CMS awarded the task order through its “SPARC” contract vehicle and received 18 total offers for the work, according to Deltek data.
Key technology areas of focus will include system modernization, cloud migration, machine learning, “DevSecOps” and human-centered design.
CMMI wants to further apply augmented intelligence in order to expand payment and service delivery models.
