VT Group hires Lydon

VT Group said Monday it has hired nearly 25-year market veteran and former Sabre Systems executive Thomas Lydon as president of the newly-formed aviation solutions division.

This division includes the recently-acquired National Technologies Associates and focuses on operations, maintenance and sustainment services on aircraft.

Lydon was formerly a senior vice president at Sabre and was responsible for strategy, business development and operations. He is also a veteran of Vistronix, Science Applications International Corp., General Dynamics, Veridian and the former Grumman Aerospace.
