Leidos books $93M in USCIS agile development work

Leidos has booked a potential three-year, $93.5 million task order to help implement new agile development processes for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services agency’s IT environment.

The order has an initial six-month base period, followed by three six-month option periods and then another option year. USCIS awarded the work through its Outcome-Based Delivery and Development Operations Services II program, Leidos said Tuesday.

USCIS tasked Leidos to develop new business functions and approaches in delivering technology products to users at a quicker pace without long development cycles.

Work will include the use of the Leidos Enterprise Agile Framework, which gives users reusable software libraries and agile software development frameworks.
