HawkEye 360 adds former Harris exec Fox
Commercial satellite outfit HawkEye 360 hires former Harris Corp. executive Alex Fox to the leadership team.
Commercial satellite maker HawkEye 360 said Thursday it has hired nearly two-decade space market veteran Alex Fox as executive vice president of business development, sales and marketing.
Fox more recently was director of space ISR solutions at Harris Corp. and helped lead new business efforts within the company's space and intelligence segment. He also held executive business development, operations and engineering positions at IBM, DigitalGlobe, TASC, Northrop Grumman, GeoEye and Orbital Sciences.
Based in Herndon, Virginia, HawkEye 360 built and operates a constellation that identifies and processes radio frequency signals as part of an overall goal to give federal agencies geospatial data.
HawkEye 360's board of directors includes former Deputy Defense Secretary Robert Work and Raytheon is a strategic investor in the company.
