Serco adds Craig Reed

Serco Inc. -- the British contractor’s Americas region subsidiary -- has hired 35-year federal market veteran Craig Reed as senior vice president and chief growth officer.

He will lead corporate strategy and business development efforts along with company’s merger-and-acquisition program, Serco Inc. said Monday. His responsibilities also include the pipeline of business opportunities, capture and proposal management, and market intelligence.

Reed’s more recent roles in industry include president and chief operating officer of NT Concepts, plus senior vice president of strategy and corporate development for Engility.

At Engility, he was part of the executive team that led the company through its acquisition of TASC four years ago. Engility is in the process of being acquired by Science Applications International Corp.

His career also includes time as senior VP of corporate strategy and corporate development at DynCorp International, VP of strategy and business development for Northrop Grumman’s mission systems business and other leadership roles at Lockheed Martin.
