More GDIT exec changes

General Dynamics’ IT services division has seen three more executives depart amid the ongoing integration of GDIT with CSRA, a company spokesperson has confirmed.

GDIT’s defense business leader Ken Deutsch retired and intelligence portfolio head Adam Rudo resigned this week, as first reported by the Washington Business Journal. GDIT Chief of Staff Christian Marrone left in June.

Former GDIT Chief Growth Officer George Batsakis left the business in June and is now head of the defense practice at Accenture Federal Services. Kelly Ferrell subsequently moved to the role formerly held by Batsakis, who was chief growth officer for CSRA until its acquisition by GD in April.

With respect to GDIT, Leigh Palmer leads the defense business and Chief Operating Officer Bernie Guerry is in charge of its intelligence portfolio until Rudo’s successor is named.

"GDIT has a strong leadership team in place, representing the best of our combined legacy companies," General Dynamics said in a statement. "During this time of transformation, GDIT remains focused on delivering on our commitments through continued growth, execution and innovation."

Analysts and executives have noted the difficulty of integrating large businesses together in large megadeals like GDIT-CSRA and others, particularly around cultural fit of more than one workforce and strategies for different markets.
