GSA awards $2.5B next-gen payroll tech contract
The General Services Administration awards its $2.5 billion contract for new HR-related software and services from the commercial world.
The General Services Administration has chosen a pair of industry teams for a potential 10-year, $2.5 billion contract to implement new software and services for payroll and other human resource functions across the federal government.
GSA’s “NewPay” initiative is an effort to adopt new commercial technologies at scale and streamline HR and other administrative services across the federal government in support of the President’s Management Agenda, GSA said Thursday.
One team includes Carahsoft, Deloitte and Immix Technology. A second team includes CGI Federal, Grant Thornton and The Arcanum Group.
NewPay covers new payroll, work schedule and leave management software from pre-vetted vendors.
