Five take positions on $213M Navy technical support contract
Five companies win positions on a $213.2 million contract for technical support services to the Navy in IT and other organizational functions.
Five companies have won positions on a potential six-year, $213.2 million contract for technical support services to the Navy in IT and other organizational functions.
Work will support the deputy chief of naval operations for manpower, personnel, training and education. The Navy received 15 total bids for the contract, the Defense Department said in its Friday awards digest.
Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International, Capstone Corp, Science Applications International Corp. and Serco Inc. will compete for task orders to carry out strategic support for the chief information officer within this DCNO office.
This contract has a three-year, $103.3 million base period and a three-year option period that would extend the award to its full ceiling value.
Service areas will include data and information management, IT system support, network support, cybersecucrity, enterprise business intelligence and business process re-engineering.
The DCNO office covered under this contract comprises of the Bureau of Naval Personnel, Navy Personnel Command, the Navy Manpower Analysis Center, Commander Naval Education and Training, and Commander Navy Recruiting Command.
