DynCorp hires CIA vet Kelton as intell business head
DynCorp International hires three-decade intelligence community veteran and former CIA executive Mark Kelton as a senior vice president.
DynCorp International has hired three-decade intelligence community veteran and former CIA executive Mark Kelton as senior vice president of national security solutions.
Kelton will lead DynCorp's effort to grow its footprints in IT and intelligence markets that are priorities for the company's longer-term strategy, CEO George Krivo said in a release Tuesday.
In a July sit-down with WT, Krivo described how DynCorp's turnaround has helped give the global defense services contractor more room to position an IT and intelligence business for growth and also tied that core. DynCorp would eventually like IT and intell into become a third segment and acquisitions are part of that strategy, Krivo said then.
Kelton's CIA career includes time as chief of the agency's counterintelligence center and 16 years of overseas experience.
