IAI makes cyber push through DGS purchase
Integrity Applications International purchase Dependable Global Solutions to add cybersecurity and counterintelligence related work for defense and intelligence agencies.
Technology services contractor Integrity Applications International has acquired Dependable Global Solutions to add cybersecurity and counterintelligence related work for defense and intelligence agencies.
Terms of the transaction were undisclosed. DGS Chief Strategy Officer Joel Griffin and Chief Operating Officer Travis Hyde will join IAI as vice presidents in conjunction with the deal, the companies said Wednesday.
The deal comes almost six months after Chantilly, Virginia-based IAI was itself acquired by private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners, which is merging the contractor with another portfolio company in Xebec. Arlington Capital acquired the intelligence community IT contractor Xebec in October of last year.
DGS will add to IAI approximately 1,100 employees that work on space, missile defense, cybersecurity and intelligence programs, IAI CEO Dave Dzaran said in a release.
