Government IT services contractor USmax has hired 18-year General Dynamics veteran Mark Sikorski as chief operating officer.
Sikorski joins Gambrills, Maryland-based USmax to lead its growth from being small business to the middle tier, the company said Tuesday.
He more recently was vice president of homeland security solutions for GD's IT services business and managed a $150 million-revenue portfolio of services to the Homeland Security and Justice Departments.
Before his private sector career, Sikorski served 22 years in the Coast Guard and managed communications, logistics, IT and intelligence programs.
