Science Applications International Corp. hires former CSRA executive John F. Walsh III to lead the information technology solutions business segment.

Science Applications International Corp. has hired two-decade market veteran and former CSRA executive John F. Walsh III as senior vice president and general manager for the information technology solutions business segment.

Walsh succeeds the retired Dan Harris, who held a four-decade career at SAIC. The company said Monday Walsh will report to Chief Operating Officer Nazzic Keene and oversee SAIC’s effort to grow software, end-user services, cyber and digital infrastructure services.

Prior to SAIC, Walsh was vice president of homeland security programs for CSRA and spent 16 years with the organization dating back to when it was Computer Sciences Corp.’s U.S. public sector business. That division merged with SRA International in 2015 to form CSRA, which General Dynamics acquired in early April.
