Now a division of ASGN, ECS has hired former Wolf Den Associates executive and federal market consultant David West as vice president of corporate development.
West officially joined the government IT contractor on April 2 and will develop and drive growth strategies, ECS said Monday.
Fairfax, Virginia-based ECS is targeting $1 billion in revenue by 2021 under the umbrella of ASGN, which closed its acquisition of the company earlier this month.
At Wolf Den, West led the firm’s merger-and-acquisition practice and supported both private equity and strategic buyer clients.
While at the Department of Homeland Security, he was an adviser to Secretaries Tom Ridge and Michael Chertoff and was a founding member of the secretary’s staff.
He later worked in investment banking and principal investing roles at Morgan Stanley.
