Peraton hires Northrop vet King as growth lead
Peraton adds former Northrop Grumman business development executive Michael King as chief growth officer.
Peraton said Monday it has hired former Northrop Grumman business development executive Michael King as chief growth officer.
King will oversee Peraton’s functions in business development, capture, proposal, pricing, customer engagement and mergers and acquisitions. He will also work with the company’s chief technology officer to align offerings with agency missions, Peraton said.
Herndon, Virginia-based Peraton is the former Harris Corp. IT business led by long-time government market veteran Stu Shea. Veritas Capital acquired the business and subsequently rebranded it to the current Peraton name last year. Shea has assembled an experienced management team since.
At Northrop, King more recently was vice president of business development for its cyber and intelligence mission solutions division and oversaw an almost $1 billion portfolio there.
He also led business development functions at Northrop’s former civil division.
