Peraton adds former NRO chief Harris to advisory board
Peraton adds former National Reconnaissance Office Director Jeffrey Harris to the government technology services contractor’s board of advisers.
Peraton said Monday that former National Reconnaissance Office Director Jeffrey Harris has joined the government technology services contractor’s board of advisers.
Herndon, Virginia-based Peraton’s board has gained a pair of significant additions since the fall. Those have included former CIA Chief Information Officer Jeanne Tisinger and former Principal Deputy National Intelligence Director Stephanie O’Sullivan.
Peraton has also added several executives to its leadership team since last summer’s rebrand to its current name.
Harris was assistant Air Force secretary for space and director of the NRO from 1994 to 1996. At NRO, he led efforts to integrate the agency’s functions into three directorates and consolidate signals intelligence systems into a partnership between NRO and the National Security Agency.
He currently serves as chairman of the board of directors for the government business at quantum computing system manufacturer D-Wave. Harris is also a former executive from Lockheed Martin and was president of commercial earth imagery provider Space Imaging.
