NIH names first group to CIO-SP3 Small Business on ramp
Forty small businesses have been determined to qualify for the first on-ramp for the $20 billion National Institutes of Health CIO-SP3 Small Business contract.
Forty companies have been qualified by the National Institutes of Health as potential winners of the first on ramp for the $20 billion NIH CIO-SP3 Small Business contract for IT integration and outsourcing support.
NIH released a pre-award notice listing the companies. They now have to clear any challenges to whether they actually are small businesses before the awards are finalized. Challengers have until March 5 to file their objections.
The pre-award notice posted on FedBizOpps Tuesday lists those determined to have submitted the best offers for the contract’s service-disabled, veteran-owned small business group.
NIH’s IT Acquisition and Assessment Center is still evaluating bids from the general small business, 8(a) small business and HUBZone groups.
The contract covers IT services on medical equipment and other healthcare technology systems, support for the chief information officer, imaging and outsourcing support, operations and maintenance, integration, IT infrastructure protection, digital government and software development.
