Verizon promotes Cohen to federal civilian lead
Verizon elevates one of its team leaders in Andrea Cohen to lead the telecommunications company's business with federal civilian agencies.
Verizon’s enterprise solutions business has promoted one of its team leaders in Andrea Cohen to regional vice president with responsibility for business with federal civilian agencies, the company said Tuesday.
Cohen has led Verizon teams that won contracts with Cabinet departments such as Health and Human Services, Veterans Affairs, Labor and Energy. The company said additional wins included work with the Social Security Administration, Postal Service, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Environmental Protection Agency and Tennessee Valley Authority.
Her career prior to Verizon includes business development and capture management activities at AT&T and Winstar. Cohen has also been responsible for program management on several large programs at the General Services Administration, Verizon said.
