Blackstone names new federal president
Silicon Valley's Blackstone Technology Group promotes federal managing director Giles Kesteloot to president of the organization.
IT consulting firm Blackstone Technology Group has promoted its former federal practice managing director Giles Kesteloot to president of the organization, the company said Thursday.
San Francisco-based Blackstone started its federal practice in 2002 to offer the same technology engineering, transformation and creative design services it offers in Silicon Valley to federal agencies.
The company focuses on cloud computing, cybersecurity, agile development and DevOps -- the term that blends software development and software operation.
Kesteloot first joined Blackstone in 2009 and is a two-decade veteran in both federal and commercial IT, the company says. He became its federal director in 2016.
Blackstone Federal is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia.
