Endeavor Robotics' advisory board adds Rosenbach, McFarland

Unmanned ground vehicle maker Endeavor Robotics adds former Defense Department officials Eric Rosenbach and Katrina McFarland to the board of advisers.
Unmanned ground vehicle maker Endeavor Robotics has added a pair of former Defense Department officials in Eric Rosenbach and Katrina McFarland to the board of advisers, the company said Thursday.
Endeavor's advisory board offers guidance to company leaders on issues related to national security threats and trends in unmanned ground robotics. The board also advises on future technology needs of first responders and military personnel.
Chelmsford, Mass.-based Endeavor is the former defense business of iRobot and was acquired in 2016 by Arlington Capital Partners, the same group behind federal contractors such as Polaris Alpha and Compusearch.
Rosenbach was formerly Pentagon chief of staff for two years until January of this year and prior to that was assistant defense secretary for global security and homeland defense for one year. His government career also includes three years as deputy assistant defense secretary for cyber.
McFarland's more recent role in government was as assistant defense secretary for acquisition until January of this year. She is also a former assistant Army secretary for acquisition.
The three-decade government veteran joined Engility Corp.'s board of directors in July and the government board of advisers at credit reporting firm TransUnion in August.
