Four win spots on Navy's $326M tech insertion contract

Four companies will bid for technology insertion services task orders under a potential five-year, $326 million Navy contract.
The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific in San Diego received four bids for the contract.
Four companies have received positions on a potential five-year contract worth up to almost $326 million for technical and engineering services such as technology insertion to the Navy.
The work supports communications, IT and other efforts related to the Navy’s command, control, communications, computers and intelligence platforms. Awardees will compete for task orders over the two-year base period and three-year option period if exercised by the Navy, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Contract details are as follows:
- Booz Allen Hamilton: base value $30.7 million, ceiling value $78.9 million
- General Dynamics: base value $31.8 million, ceiling value $82 million
- KAB Laboratories: base value $31.3 million, ceiling value $80.2 million
- Science Applications International Corp: base value $33.1 million, ceiling value $84.7 million
Services will also include software, hardware and systems engineering; modeling and simulation; installation and testing; and integrated logistics. All work will take place in San Diego.
