Booz Allen's defense & intell lead to retire

Booz Allen Hamilton is rearranging its executive leadership team in moves to take effect in the middle of next year as its defense and intelligence business head prepares to retire.

Joe Logue will retire from Booz Allen on June 30, 2018 after a two-decade career at the firm with the last four years as executive vice president for defense and intelligence. The firm will shift three of its other executive vice presidents into new roles with those moves effective when its fiscal year begins on April 1, Booz Allen said Tuesday.

Logue helped spearhead Booz Allen’s re-entry into international markets such as the Middle East and Asia and also led the global commercial IT business prior to his current role.

Executive Vice President Karen Dahut will lead the defense business, Executive Vice President Christopher Ling will lead the intelligence business and Executive Vice President Kristine Martin Anderson will lead the civil business.

Dahut currently leads Booz Allen’s commercial and civil businesses and prior to that led its Strategic Innovation Group and Navy-Marine Corps businesses.

Ling runs the international business and has previously led components of Booz Allen’s intelligence business. Anderson currently oversees the health business.

Booz Allen was listed no. 8 on the 2017 Washington Technology Top 100 rankings.
