PAE, Parsons partner to chase Army's $82B LOGCAP V contract
PAE and Parsons form a joint venture in pursuit of the Army's upcoming potential 10-year, $82 billion LOGCAP V logistics contract.
PAE and Parsons have formed a joint venture to pursue an upcoming potential 10-year, $82 billion contract for logistics and facility management services to the Army.
The companies will base PAE-Parsons Global Logistics Services in the Rock Island, Ill. Region near the Army Sustainment Command and an Army Contracting Command site there. Former Army Joint Munitions Command civilian executive Scott Welker will lead P2GLS as president, the companies said Thursday.
This venture replaces a prior arrangement PAE announced with Vectrus in October of last year.
LOGCAP V is the follow-on contract to the $150 billion LOGCAP IV vehicle awarded in 2007 to DynCorp International, Fluor and KBR. LOGCAP IV is due to expire in April 2018 and the Army could make between four and six awards for the new iteration, according to Deltek.
A request for proposals is anticipated for release in October followed by awards in August 2018.
