BAE's US arm receives $77M Navy communications, electronics contract
BAE Systems' U.S. business will develop communications and electronics platforms for Navy aircraft under a 22-month, $76 million contract.
BAE Systems' U.S. business has received a 22-month, $76 million contract to develop communications and electronics platforms for Navy aircraft.
The Naval Air Warfare Center's Aircraft Division seeks to help military and other government agencies communicate securely with the equipment. Users include the Navy, Army, Air Force, special operations forces, other Defense Department agencies and civilian agencies.
BAE Systems Inc. will help design, build, customize and maintain the platforms under the contract.
NAWCAD also has tasked BAE to support tests, evaluations, installations, integration and certification work on the equipment.
