PAE brings aboard Leidos, Parsons vet Strampach to BD leadership role

PAE hires former Leidos executive and three-decade sector veteran Andy Strampach to lead business development for the national security solutions unit.

PAE has hired former Leidos executive and three-decade contracting veteran Andy Strampach as vice president of business development for the national security solutions business unit.

Strampach’s new responsibility includes the FCi Federal business acquired by PAE in June. PAE formed the national security solutions unit through its 2015 acquisitions of A-T Solutions and the former USIS Global Security and Solutions business.

At Leidos, Strampach led business development efforts for the company’s intelligence community line of business.

He joined Leidos in 2015 after four years as a vice president of BD at Parsons’ government services business. Parsons credits Strampach with growth of the business’ national security and defense division to $600 million and an 85-percent win rate.

Prior to Parsons, he held leadership roles at the Sparta business acquired by Parsons in 2011, General Dynamics and Science Applications International Corp.
