22nd Century Technologies has won a potential seven-year, $146.3 million contract to help the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office operate and maintain the agency's IT environment.

USPTO held the competition as a small business set-aside and McLean, Va.-based 22nd Century will take over the work performed by incumbent Evolver, according to Deltek. The contract disclosed in an Aug. 16 FedBizOpps notice contains one base year with six one-year options.

The agency sought services to help maintain operational readiness of its automated systems and their underlying IT infrastructures, according to an April 2015 presolicitation notice.

Requirements include desktop support including deployments and moves, warehouse operations, hardware testing and evaluation, security operations and remote site support.
