Find opportunities — and win them.

CSRA extends its acquisition program support work for Navy aircraft carriers through the award of a new five-year, $61 million task order.

CSRA has won a five-year, $61 million task order for continued acquisition program support services to the Navy for the branch's various aircraft carriers.

The Navy awarded the order through its massive Seaport-e professional services contracting vehicle. CSRA inherited the work from its former parent Computer Sciences Corp., which has supported the branch's program executive office for aicraft carriers since 1991.

Awarded in February, the task order contains a base year, two one-year options and two additional one-year terms for award.

Support service areas include program management, lifecycle, business and financial management, operational support and surge requirements. The program office is responsible for leadership over the design, development, construction, modernization and lifecycle management of carriers.

Including extensions, the Navy has allocated approximately $428.7 million in contracting funds since the predecessor award's 2010 start date to CSC and CSRA, Deltek says.
