BAE wins Marine Corps wargaming contract

BAE Systems' U.S. arm will help the Marine Corps research and plan wargame exercises under a potential five-year, $36.2 million contract.
BAE Systems' U.S. subsidiary has won a potential five-year, $36.2 million contract to help the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab plan and research wargame exercises.
MCWL is responsible for the development of warfighting concepts and options to inform the branch's combat development processes and address future operating environments.
BAE Systems Inc. will also help the lab execute and assess exercises in support of the annual Marine Corps Wargaming Title 10, Expeditionary Warrior Program to examine issues related to the future of the force. Title 10 topics include vision of maritime operations, awareness of operating environments, early actions and scales of responses to threats or crises.
The Marine Corps received three offers for the contract and work will take place through June 30, 2022.
