LS Technologies, Noblis to share potential $803M FAA acquisition support contract

Noblis and LS Technologies have received positions on a potential seven-year, $803 million contract for program management, acquisition support and systems engineering services to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The Enterprise Programs, Infrastructure and Communications Services contract covers work to help implement, manage and carry out communications infrastructure programs in support of the National Airspace System as the FAA transitions to the NextGen air traffic management system.

Noblis retained the work as large business incumbent on the predecessor Enterprise Communications Support Services contract awarded. Veracity Engineering held the incumbent position for ECSS’ small business portion and was unseated by LS for the successor EPICS, according to Deltek.

The FAA awarded the EPICS contract in February. Reston, Va.-based nonprofit research organization Noblis announced its spot on EPICS in late April. LS is a veteran-owned engineering and technical services contractor headquartered in Fairfax.

EPICS contractors will aim to help identify new technologies, methods and approaches for FAA’s Communications, Infrastructure and Network Programs group.
