Jacobs takes potential $86M Transcom IT contract
Jacobs Engineering Group has unseated three incumbents for a potential $89 million Transportation Command IT services contract.
Jacobs Engineering Group has won a four-and-a-half year, $89 million contract for information technology management services to U.S. Transportation Command.
The Information Technology Service Management Enterprise Support contract covers a six-month base period and four one-year options.
Deltek lists the former Harris Corp. IT services business, Agile Defense and RX Joint Venture as incumbents. Harris IT Services filed a pre-award protest to the Government Accountability Office on Dec. 6. That protest was dismissed on Dec. 12.
Through ITSM, Transcom aims to achieve interfaces between on-site and remote networks across its broader command, control, communications and computer systems environment. The command also seeks to make applications available for its user community.
Work under TISM will encompass areas such as cybersecurity, network operations and maintenance, systems integration, software management, product purchasing, configuration, service desk, teleconferencing and architecture support.
