Sapient's Bozzelli calls it a career -- almost

Teresa Bozzelli is retiring as president of Sapient Government Services but lans to remain active in the government market.

Teresa Bozzelli spent her last day Monday as leader of Sapient Government Services, she confirmed to Washington Technology. She has retired from Sapient but will remain active in the government market.

Bozzelli joined the company in 2010 and her roles have included senior vice president for Sapient and president of the Sapient Government Services business.

Her roots in the government market run deep.

She founded Government Insights, now part of IDC that provides research and advisory services on IT trends and innovations specific to the public sector. Prior to that she was a vice president and partner at Booz Allen Hamilton.

There is no permanent replacement for her at Sapient at this time. The government services business will be led by Nathan Brewer, Denise Antinori and Ravee Kurian. They will report to Milind Godbole, senior vice president of Sapient Consulting. Tim Smith will continue as president of OnPoint Consulting, a subsidiary of Sapient Government Solutions upon its acquisition in 2015.

Bozzelli's retirement will not be one entirely of leisure. She told Washington Technology she will remain active with the industry, especially with Don Upson and the Government Business Executive Forum.
