CACI lands Air Force automated testing support contract

CACI International has won a six-year, $94 million contract for engineering services to support the Air Force’s test stations and equipment for IT infrastructures as the branch seeks to use automation to monitor weapon systems.

The Air Force seeks an enterprise infrastructure with both government- and commercial-off-the-shelf tools that can help automate some testing functions. Each test equipment component supports items built by different vendors and coordination is required when systems need to be replaced or modified, according to Deltek.

CACI will carry out integration, updates and consolidation work on computer-based test stations, text fixtures, test program sets, database repositories, analytical software and network communications functions.

The Air Force received three offers for the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.
