Accenture lands $232M Marshals Service IT task order

Accenture's federal arm receives a five-year, $232 million task order to implement a new U.S. Marshals Service IT system.
Accenture Federal has won a five-year, $232 million task order to build a new IT systems with mobile and real-time data unctions for the U.S. Marshals Service.
The Marshals Service wants to increase data accessibility and focus on user experience through its partnership with Accenture as part of the agency’s Mission Modernization Program.
The General Services Administration awarded the Alliant task order via its Federal Systems Integration and Management Center, which carries out large information technology and professional services acquisitions for agencies.
FEDSIM worked with USMS to start the Mission Modernization Program acquisition as a pilot program for cloud implementation throughout the Justice Department.
For USMS, Accenture will configure the system based on Pegasystems’ cloud software and also develop an enterprise data tool to help carry out decision-making functions.
Accenture will also work with the agency to re-engineer and automate business processes for operational staff at USMS.
