Abt Associates captures $20M contract to support Zimbabwean malaria management
Abt Associates has won a $20 million contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development to assist Zimbabwe in managing malaria.
Abt Associates has won a $20 million contract with the U.S. Agency for International Development to assist Zimbabwe in managing malaria.
Under the contract, Abt will partner with the Zimbabwean Ministry of Health and Child Care/National Malaria Control Programs to implement a comprehensive malaria prevention and treatment program in 47 of the 59 districts, the company said in a release.
The contract will last five years and will focus on improving case management; communicating behavior change strategies; monitoring and evaluation; and executing research studies, Abt said.
