Northrop Grumman has named Don Chavez vice president, associate general counsel and sector counsel for the company’s Technical Services sector, effective March 22.

Northrop Grumman has named Don Chavez vice president, associate general counsel and sector counsel for the company’s Technical Services sector, effective March 22.

In his new role, Chavez will lead the legal team at the sector providing counsel to the sector president and senior staff.

He will also be responsible for managing the delivery of legal advice to the sector’s multiple sites, programs and subsidiaries across a wide range of legal matters involving government and commercial transactions, business development, investigations, environmental, intellectual property, employment and compliance, the company said in a release.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of New Mexico and a juris doctorate degree from the University of Southern California.
