Northrop Grumman has won a $7.3 million contract to provide post-production lifecycle support for mobile command, control and communications systems for the Marine Corps.
Northrop Grumman has won a $7.3 million contract to provide post-production lifecycle support for mobile command, control and communications systems for the Marine Corps.
Under the contract, Northrop will provide lifecycle support of the AN/TYQ-23(V)4 Tactical Air Operations Module and subsystems.
The AN/TYQ-23(V)4 Tactical Air Operations Module is a transportable C3 facility that works in conjunction with the AN/TYQ-87(V)2 Sector Anti-Air Warfare Facility and peripheral equipment for surveillance, identification, threat evaluation, airspace management and communication capabilities, Northrop said in a release.
The company will help to sustain and upgrade the circuit card assemblies, software and hardware of the command and control systems that support the Tactical Air Operations Center.
Work will be performed through September 2014.
