LGS Innovations names a COO, creates wireless unit
The telecom company promotes Kevin Kelly to COO and creates a wireless business unit with offices in Virginia, New Jersey and Colorado.
LGS Innovations, a government networking and communications provider, has completed what it calls a significant reorganization to align the company more closely with the technology challenges facing federal agencies and the defense industry.
LGS named Kevin L. Kelly chief operating officer responsible for all LGS operations as the company seeks to provide next generation networking capabilities, the company said in a Nov. 15 news release.
Kelly previously served as vice president of corporate strategy.
The Alcatel-Lucent subsidiary also has created a wireless unit to unify personnel and resources and deliver advanced mobile technologies, the announcement said.
The wireless business unit will be led by Clark DeHaven, general manager of Wireless and Mobility, and will have offices in Herndon, Va.; Florham Park, N.J.; and Denver.
It will join two already existing business units in LGS, Federal Solutions and Technology and Custom Products.
