White House pushes technology for viewing State of the Union
The White House is making President Obama's first State of the Union address to Congress available in a variety of media.
White House officials want to make sure the public sees President Barack Obama's first State of the Union address, and plans to make his speech available through a variety of media outlets.
In a blog post today, White House Director of New Media Macon Phillips reminded the public that the speech will be available via live Webstream and an iPhone app.
After the speech, people can submit follow-up questions and vote on others at YouTube.com/CitizenTube. And next week, the president will answer questions in a online event live from the White House.
