The Coast Guard is looking for a contractor to implement an earned value management system at its Aviation Logistics Center at Elizabeth City, N.C.
The Coast Guard is looking for a contractor to implement an earned value management system, according to a synopsis of information for planning purposes published on the Federal Business Opportunities Web site.
In general, the contractor will be responsible for providing the Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center at Elizabeth City, N.C., with a commercial software solution that is compatible with the center’s existing Primavera scheduling and SAS data warehouse costing software, according to a sources-sought notice posted May 6.
The contractor will configure the software solution to automate data acquisition from existing scheduling and costing software, and implement a timekeeping system to allow contract labor to be applied to appropriate work packages for about 750 contract workers. The current system tracks only about 750 civil service employees.
In addition, the selected contractor will provide classroom and on-the-job training to program management personnel in the interpretation and use of earned value management data.
