Dynamics Research Corp. will provide continuing logistics support to the Air Force under a five-year task order worth $3.7 million.
Under DRC’s General Services Administration Logistics Worldwide contract, the contractor will support the Air Logistics Center at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, by providing continuing program management and logistics support activities.
Those activities include the management, analysis and evaluation of performance metrics, parts availability data, production status, and funds and forecast information for the 417th Supply Chain Management Squadron at the Ogden Air Logistics Center.
The task has a one-year base period and four one-year options.
DRC, of Andover, Mass., has been providing supply chain planning and execution support to the 417th Supply Management Activity Group for the past 10 years, said Bob Smith, DRC senior vice president and general manager.
“Our efforts will assist in improving the weapon system sustainment effort as it relates to the identification of funding issues, supply and repair challenges, performance metric variances, and the early detection of technical data deficiencies,” Smith said.
