A requestfor proposals is expected in January.The Texas Health and Human ServicesCommission is looking for acontractor to provide eligibilitysupport and document processingservices. An RFP isexpected in February.The contractor will be required to provide callcenter and related services to support a numberof eligibility programs, such as children's healthinsurance, Medicaid, food stamps, and temporaryassistance to needy families.The Fire Authority in Orange County, Calif., isseeking a contractor to provide a computer-aideddispatch (CAD) system. An RFPis expected in January.The contractor will berequired to design, plan,upgrade and replace the county's existing CADsystem. The county may decide to include requirementsfor incident reporting and integrated fireprevention systems in the same solicitation.
