An RFP is expected in September.The system will support about 500 users, including attorneys, paraprofessionals, and clerical and administrative workers employed in the division.The New York Criminal Justice Services Division wants a contractor to replace its traditional fingerprint identification system with a biometric identification system. An RFP is expected in November.The contractor will provide an automated system capable of processing 10 print and latent-print identifications and possibly other biometrics as part of a multimodal system.The system must connect with similar federal, state and local systems.
