The Sales Tax Division of Colorado Springs, Colo., wants a contractor to provide sales tax application software. A request for proposals is expected this summer.The city wants an existing software package for its new sales and use tax system. Contractors should propose a system that is installed in a municipal jurisdiction with tax and accounting requirements similar to those of Colorado Springs.The Criminal Justice Information System Division of Fulton County, Ga., wants a contractor to provide a criminal justice information system. An RFP is expected this summer.The department wants an integrated system that will link state-level and county-level criminal justice information systems to facilitate the exchange of data and information among agencies in an efficient and cost-effective manner.The Texas Public Accounts Comptroller wants a contractor to provide a business intelligence solution. An RFP is expected in July.The business intelligence solution will assist the department in its mission to improve tax/voucher data processing, in addition to tax collection and disbursements by providing tools to manage the tax and citizen-related data under the department's scope.
