The Commerce Department seeks a human-resources automated hiring system that is integrated with the governmentwide USAJOBS Web site administered by the Office of Personnel Management.
The contract is for a one-year base period and four option years beginning in October, Commerce said in its request for proposals on FedBizOpps. Proposals are due March 2.
The vendor would host, operate and maintain the Web site; post job announcements; maintain interconnections with the USAJOBS system; maintain security, system and user documentation and support; and be responsible for technical development and testing, and data integrity and system availability. The contractor would also receive paper and electronic applications, rate and rank candidates, prepare hiring certificates for managers and generate management reports.
