AeA launches government procurement group
The trade association AeA has launched a new unit targeting the government procurement market.
The impetus to create the committee came from AeA member companies."We believe that there are considerable opportunities in the procurement space for AeA companies, and there is a great deal of interest on the part of companies," said William Archey, president and CEO of AeA.
The trade association AeA has launched a new unit targeting the government procurement market.
Called the Government and Commercial Marketing Group, the organization will focus on technology acquisition, trends, policies and best practices.
The group will be led by Gregory Poersch and it has three committees:
- T4G (Technology for Government Committee). The committee will focus on business opportunities with federal and state governments. This committee will meet bi-monthly.
- SPPA (State Procurement Policy Affairs Committee). The committee will focus on technology policies.
- M4B (Marketing for Business Committee) will focus on networking.
