PC Mall opens doors for GSA sales

PC Mall Gov Inc. won a contract worth up to $100 million over three years from the General Services Administration to supply IT products through the procurement agency's Expanded Direct Delivery Program.

PC Mall Gov Inc. won a contract worth up to $100 million over three years from the General Services Administration to supply IT products through the procurement agency's Expanded Direct Delivery Program.

This program lets federal agencies order office products through a single point of sale. It also gives them a real-time capability to see the products offered and available inventory, as well as check order status and track orders.

Under the blanket purchase agreement, PC Mall Gov will add more than 12,000 products, such as desktop computers, notebooks, printers, computer accessories and memory, scanners and storage devices to GSA Global Supply's Expanded Direct Delivery Program.

PC Mall ships many orders the same day on which they are placed from its distribution center. It also processes orders via the Internet.

PC Mall Gov of Chantilly, Va., is a unit of PC Mall Inc. of Torrance, Calif. The parent company has 1,275 employees and had annual revenue of $997.2 million in 2005.
