GSA re-ups CACI for public buildings acquisition system
CACI International Inc. has won a contract from the General Services Administration to continue supporting the agency's electronic acquisition service for public buildings.
CACI International Inc. has won a five-year, $18 million contract award from the General Services Administration to continue supporting the agency's electronic acquisition service for public buildings, the company announced today.
Under the contract, CACI of Arlington, Va., will continue supporting the GSA with its Comprizon electronic contract management system that serves 11 regions throughout the nation. GSA's Public Building Service has been using the system for the past decade.
The technical services that CACI will provide include system maintenance and enhancements, configuration management support, maintenance support of the current electronic acquisition system and the Web-based system, process and solution support, training, and interfaces to other applications.
The GSA Public Building Service serves as the builder, developer and maintenance provider of federally owned and leased properties, and provides workspace for more than 1 million federal employees. The organization currently oversees more than 8,000 buildings, ranging from border stations and computer centers to courthouses and office spaces.
CACI has more than 9,500 employees and annual sales of $1.1 billion. The company ranks No. 17 on Washington Technology's 2005 Top 100 list, which measures federal contracting revenue.
