The Navy needs medical case management software and support services for its Naval Medical Information Management Center in Bethesda, Md.Established in 1961, the center is the IT and management center for Navy medical services. It provides cost-effective information management technologies that support health care for Navy personnel and their families worldwide.The Navy expects to award a one-year, fixed-price contract. The system will integrate government and off-the-shelf technologies and government-furnished equipment into a cohesive, modular network.The systems and equipment acquired will allow for the seamless evolution into the future Warfighter Information Network-Tactical system architecture, known as WIN-T. All systems bought under the proposed contract must be interoperable with JNN-N systems that have been or are being fielded.The Army will award one indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for five years and one five-year option period.
