The Oregon Secretary of State plans to release a solicitation in April for an accessible voting system to comply with the Help America Voting Act.
The Oregon Secretary of State plans to release a solicitation in April for an accessible voting system to comply with the Help America Voting Act.
The system must make voting accessible and allow voters with disabilities the opportunity to vote privately and independently. It also must provide a simple interface with optical scan systems used to tally votes cast by mail, as well as produce a voter verifiable paper audit trail as required by state law.
